Philly311 is the City of Philadelphia’s non-emergency customer service gateway for city government services. Core services include: -Directory Assistance Provides you with access to a City Department of your choice. -Information Services Provides you with answers to simple questions related to city government such as “What day is my trash day?” -Service Requests Have requests for services offered by the City directly submitted to a Department by a live Agent, such as Abandoned vehicles, Pothole repair, Street light repair, Missed trash/recycling -Updates on Special Events Get updates on the location, times, and other information of local holiday events, celebrations, and other special events in the city. Citizen Engaged Community On Sept. 27, The Public Technology Institute (PTI) named Philadelphia one of the 2012-2014 Citizen Engaged Communities. PTI created the annual designation program to recognize excellence in multi-channel contact centers and best practices for the use of Citizen Relationship/Records Management (CRM) systems, 311 services, web portal technology, telephone systems and mobile communications infrastructure. Philly 311 received the designation for its proficient and high performing multi-channel contact center because it uses citizen feedback tools to improve services, utilizes Service Level Agreements with departments, has a current, centralized knowledge base, allows online service requests and tracks performance metrics.
